Under The Pole shares its technical expertise exclusively through exploratory deep‑diving programs, introducing participants to the use of diving equipment such as underwater propulsion devices.

With over 18 years of expeditions in polar, temperate and tropical regions, Under The Pole has developed unique expertise in technical diving and offers training courses in partnership with the CIP Glénan.

The professional diving school UNDER THE POLE supports divers in obtaining and renewing their Certificate of Competence in Hyperbaric Operations – Class B, across the following activity sectors:
‑ Arts, entertainment, and media
‑ Marine farming and aquaculture
‑ Underwater fishing and harvesting
‑ Technical, scientific, and other underwater operations
Based in Concarneau, operating from our expedition sailing vessel, or directly at your worksite, we provide tailored training to support the development and advancement of your professional diving skills.

By Car
- From the A11 motorway, take the exit toward Nantes
- Follow signs to join the N165 toward Quimper / Lorient
- Continue on the N165 for approximately 100 km
- Take the Concarneau exit
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the D783
- At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto the D44
- Follow signs to join the D45 toward Concarneau
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the D45
- Continue on the D45 until you reach Rue des Senneurs
- Turn right onto Rue des Senneurs and continue to number 1
By Plane
- Fly to Quimper Cornouaille Airport
- From the airport, take a taxi or rental car to Concarneau
- Follow signs to join the D783 toward Concarneau
- Take the Concarneau exit and continue on the D783
- At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto the D44
- Follow signs to join the D45 toward Concarneau
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the D45
- Continue on the D45 until you reach Rue des Senneurs
- Turn right onto Rue des Senneurs and continue to number 1
By Train
- Take a train to Quimper railway station
- From the station, take a taxi or bus to Concarneau
- Follow signs to join the D783 toward Concarneau
