Details about the traineeship


This qualification will allow you to have the necessary knowledge for the use of all Nitrox mix as well as 100% oxygen during decompression.

Traineeship lasts 2 days/16hours with 3 dives.

  • Reaction facing emergencies
  • Configuration depending on your equipment
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of this specific equipment

Conditions to candidate to this UNDER THE POLE course:

  • Being 18
  • Having a medical certificate for scuba diving
  • AD40 (FFESSM) or equivalent (PADI Advanced Open Water Diver)
  • Certification of TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent
  • Having at least 20 dives in the 30‑40m area
  • At least 10 Nitrox dives (possibility to do them with UNDER THE POLE)

At the end of this course, you will be certified Advanced Nitrox with the FFESSM (CMAS) and on request at TDI (Expect +50€ certificate fee)

Dates and rates


The price includes the S80 aluminium diving cylinder and the bail‑out (6.8l carbon) with O2 regulator

In addition :

  • To rent a regulator, stab jacket, computer etc: 15€ per material/day
  • Additional training day: +150€/day

At the end of your training, you will be able to increase your experience and participate in exploration diving days, accompanied by our teams:

  • Half a day diving: 50€/dive
  • Rebreather rental : +50€/day

Opening of an exploration day possible from 4 divers.

Organization

General organisation:

Traineeships take place from our basecamp in Concarneau or on our expeditions sailing boat following her availability.

The days of training generally start at 09:00 and end at 17:30.

Mid‑day meals, such as snacks, must be provided by the trainees.

Teaching methods: 

When you enter the program, you will be given a digital educational file. This will contain all the educational documents concerning your course.

A follow‑up of the acquisition of your skills will be debriefed by your trainer daily.

Individual equipment to have when you enter the course

You must bring your individual diving equipment. Only the tank and Bail Out will be provided.
