About the traineeship
This course is built for training divers to use diver propulsion vehicle (DPV)
Open‑circuit divers can participate in this course
We use DPVs from the italian brand SUEX, who has been following us for the past 10 years on every expeditions.

- Reminder of diving physical laws
- Advantage of using a DPV
- Technical features of DPVs
- Security measures to follow while using them
- Being able of using a DPV underwater
- Reconditioning the machines
Duration of the course:
2 jours / 16 heures _ 3 plongées avec RUNTIME > 60 minutes
Conditions to candidate to this UNDER THE POLE course:
- Being 18
- Having a medical certificate for scuba diving
- AD40 (FFESSM) or equivalent (PADI Advanced Open Water Diver)
Certification: TDI (FFESSM on request, expect +50€ certificate fee)
To wear and master the dry‑suit is recommended.

Final rate depends on the number of trainees (tax included)
The price includes the supply of the underwater scooter.
In addition :
- Rebreather rental : +50€/day
- Bail‑Out rental + regulator : +30€/day
- Additional training day: +150€/day
At the end of your training, you will be able to increase your experience and participate in exploration diving days, accompanied by our teams:
- Exploration diving day : 150€/day
- Rebreather rental : +50€/day
Opening of an exploration day possible from 4 divers.

Organization
General organisation:
Traineeships take place from our basecamp in Concarneau or on our expeditions sailing boat following her availability.
The days of training generally start at 09:00 and end at 17:30.
Mid‑day meals, such as snacks, must be provided by the trainees.
Teaching methods:
When you enter the program, you will be given a digital educational file. This will contain all the educational documents concerning your course.
A follow‑up of the acquisition of your skills will be debriefed by your trainer daily.
Individual equipment to have when you enter the course
Provide sufficient thermal protection (dry suit recommended) for dives of 60 minutes (minimum).
You must bring your individual diving equipment. Only the DPV will be provided.
The use and mastery of the waterproof suit is strongly recommended for our training courses in Concarneau.
