Under The Pole - Explorer" is back for the year 2024 with a program that will take you to the heart of the biodiversity in the Aegean and Icarian Seas (Greece/Turkey) in June, and to the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea (Sicily) in October.

An extension of the Under The Pole scientific expeditions, the Explorer program is designed for sea enthusiasts and adventurous divers looking to participate in extraordinary missions.

This year, we invite you to embark on the Why for an immersion into the world of expeditions and explore marine areas of significant scientific interest, with depths ranging from 50 to 120 meters.  

Throughout a carefully planned itinerary, you will explore exceptional sites known for their landscapes and biological richness, guided by our expedition team who will lead you on exploratory deep dives. They will share their technical expertise with you, introduce you to specialized equipment like underwater propulsion devices or underwater photography gear, and offer you the opportunity to contribute to missions through data acquisition in a participatory science approach.
